Medical tourism has very little to do with selling a surgical or diagnostic service or a treatment at a mineral spring or thalasso resort. Anyone can buy that anywhere, from any licensed physician or commissioned health facility, unless the place where they live is totally devoid of access to these services.

What makes medical tourism a consideration in the mind of a consumer is the promise of a health solution they need coupled with the percieved value of an “experience” that beckons to them.

When the suppliers of medical tourism finally realize how to express their brand and product to their targeted source market and referral partners, the blossoms will open to expose the beauty of the potential bouquets hidden inside.
